Become a Celebrance officiant

Celebrance helps couples and families in Ontario find an officiant for their wedding, or a celebrant for a funeral or a celebration of life. They book online, at a price Celebrance sets for each region, with our guarantee: if their officiant can't come, we send a replacement.

We are looking for officiants and celebrants who care about each ceremony and answer quickly.

How it works

1. You set your availability, your regions and how far you travel. You can connect your calendar so we never offer you a time you are busy.
2. We send you bookings by email. You confirm or decline from the email or your officiant space. You are always free to decline.
3. You meet the couple or the family and prepare the ceremony with them.
4. You lead the ceremony. We handle the booking, the terms, the reminders and the questions before the day.

What you get

• Bookings in your region, from people who found us online, without spending on advertising.
• The same clear price for every client, set by Celebrance for your region. You see the prices of each package in your space before you accept anything.
• Tools to prepare each ceremony: a questionnaire for the couple or the family, a shared ceremony script with the legal wording for weddings, and a reading mode that works offline on the day.
• For your own clients, the same tools in your space.

Free during our launch

During our free trial, Celebrance takes no commission and charges no subscription: the client pays you the full price directly, and you keep all of it. We will tell you at least 30 days before this changes.

What we ask

• For weddings: you are authorized to perform marriages in Ontario.
• For funerals and celebrations of life: experience leading services, or a strong wish to learn with us.
• You answer booking offers quickly, within the time each offer shows (counted during the day).
• You keep your availability up to date, so couples and families never book a time you can't do.
