About Celebrance

Celebrance is a ceremony service for Ontario. We help couples find a wedding officiant, and families find a celebrant for a funeral or a celebration of life.

What we do differently

Most sites in this space are directories: they sell listings to vendors and pass your contact details to several of them. You then compare quotes, chase answers and hope the person you pick stays available.

Celebrance works the other way around:

• We set the price. Each ceremony type has one all-in price per region, shown before you ask. It does not change with the officiant, so you never have to negotiate.
• We assign an officiant from a local network. Officiants are independent professionals who work with us in their region. We check who they are and how they work before they take a ceremony.
• We guarantee a replacement. If your officiant can't make it, we find another one at no extra cost. Neighbouring officiants cover each other for this reason.

Two separate journeys

Weddings and funerals are very different moments. They live on the same site but on separate pages, with their own tone and their own information, so you only see what matches your need.

Where we are today

We are starting in Ontario, region by region, before expanding across Canada. During this first phase, you send a request from the page of your region and we get back to you to confirm an officiant and a date. Online booking will follow.
